WE HAVE A NEW CHEF FOR 2021
Let us introduce you to Sebastian Chirtea, one of the newest members of the ‘Marina Family’ and as our Head Chef, the person ultimately responsible for the delicious food being served at the Dockyard since re-opening this year in early March.

Seb has a passion for food, serving up healthy, tasty and imaginative dishes, using fresh local produce wherever possible and catering for a variety of dietary needs. Everything is cooked from fresh quality ingredients, pretty to look at and delicious to eat.

We encourage Seb, who likes to meet our guests and customers and talk food, and when time allows he can be found walking around the Restaurant tables engaging with the customers, say hello and don’t hesitate to tell him what you would like to see on the menu!

Here we will introduce our new Menus, and hope that you will want to book a table, try for yourself, and see, why we, The Dockyard Restaurant are starting to build a name where great food, great hospitality and great location by the Sea comes in one package.

The first thing that we noticed was the extensive menu, which catered for all tastes, including both Vegan and Gluten Free options, with a special children`s menu as well. Our party was for 7 people so it was great that there was something for everyone. The scallop starter seemed to be the favourite for most and was tasty & presented well. For the mains, the choices ranged from The Seafood Linguine to the Veal Milanese, with the Rib Eye and Sea Bream also being amongst the favourite choices. The mains were well sized portions and all were devoured and enjoyed immensely. There were only 2 for desserts due to the size of the mains & both settled for the Eton Mess. During the evening the service was attentive and a great evening was had by all. We found The Dockyard to be great value and would happily recommend to others to try.
